MCU
Main Control Unit
The Main Control Unit (MCU) is the central intelligence of the inverter system. It allows the synchronized operation of up to 12 power modules. These are connected to the MCU via LAN cable. The MCU thus receives all information from the individual power modules within a few microseconds, processes it and returns control variables to the individual inverters.
The inverter system can be connected to a higher-level system (e.g. grid operator) via the existing fieldbus interface. The existing I/Os enable the control of external components.
In addition, it is possible to connect 12 slave MCUs via a master MCU. This possibility can be used for very large inverter outputs, maximum 12x3.6 MW.
